الف--- اس کی دلیل یہ حقیقت ہے کہ قرآنِ مجید ایک ایسے دور میں نازل ہوا جو بیس سال سے زیادہ پر محیط تھا، جس نے تمام انسانوں میں سب سے زیادہ فصیح و بلیغ لوگوں کو چیلنج کیا۔ {پھر وہ اس جیسی ایک مثال لے آئیں اگر وہ سچے ہیں}۔ (سورۃ الطور، 34)

A--- The proof of this is the fact that the Glorious Qur'an was revealed in a period that extended more than twenty years, challenging the most eloquent of all mankind. {Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Qur'an) if they are truthful}. (At-Tur, 34)

اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: {کہہ دیجیے کہ اس جیسی دس من گھڑت سورتیں لے آؤ}۔ [سورۃ ھود، 13]

Allah the Almighty says: {Say: Bring you the ten forged Surahs (chapters) like unto it}. (Hud, 13)

اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: {کہہ دیجیے کہ اس جیسی ایک سورت لے آؤ}۔ (سورۃ یونس، 38)

Allah the Almighty says: {Say: Bring then a Surah (chapter) like unto it}. (Yunus, 38)

لیکن وہ ایسا نہ کر سکے، اگرچہ وہ اپنی تمام تر طاقت اور قوت کے ساتھ اس کی تردید اور رد کرنے کے لیے پرجوش تھے۔ اگرچہ قرآن کے حروف اور الفاظ عربی تھے - جو ان کی مادری زبان تھی - جس کے ذریعے وہ گفتگو کرتے تھے اور جس میں وہ مقابلہ کرتے تھے، پھر بھی وہ اس کے مقابلے میں چیلنج نہ کر سکے اور نہ ہی اس کی تقلید کر سکے۔ قرآنِ مجید نے اس آیت میں اس کی معجزانہ فطرت کو چیلنج کرنے میں ان کی نااہلی کا اعلان کر دیا ہے جس میں ارشاد ہے: {کہہ دیجیے کہ اگر تمام انسان اور جن مل کر بھی اس قرآن جیسا پیدا کرنا چاہیں، تو وہ اس جیسا پیدا نہیں کر سکیں گے، خواہ وہ ایک دوسرے کی مدد ہی کیوں نہ کریں۔} (سورۃ الاسراء، 88)

But, they could not do it, though they were keen on refuting and rejecting it with all their power and might. Though the Qur'an’s characters and words are Arabic - their mother tongue - with which they used to communicate, and in which they used to compete, they could not challenge or even imitate it. The Glorious Qur'an declared their incapability of challenging its miraculous nature in the verse that reads, {Say: If the mankind and the Jinn were together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another}. (Al-Isra', 88)

اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے فرمایا: ((ہر نبی کو ایسے معجزات دیے گئے تھے جن کی وجہ سے لوگوں نے ایمان لایا، لیکن مجھے وہ الہام دیا گیا ہے جو اللہ نے مجھ پر نازل فرمایا ہے۔ چنانچہ مجھے امید ہے کہ قیامت کے دن میرے پیروکار دیگر انبیاء کے پیروکاروں سے زیادہ ہوں گے۔)) [البخاری اور مسلم]

Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: ((Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed ,but what I have given Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will outnumber the followers of the other Prophets on the Day of Resurrection.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

بے شمار علماء اور سائنسدانوں نے قرآنِ مجید کی معجزاتی فطرت کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر لکھا ہے۔ انہوں نے اس کے الفاظ، معانی، قدیم اقوام کی خبروں اور غیب کی خبروں کو سمجھنے کی بھرپور کوشش کی، لیکن وہ سب کچھ اتنا ہی حاصل کر سکے جتنا ایک چھوٹا سا چڑیا اپنی نوکیلی چونچ سے عظیم سمندر سے حاصل کر سکتا ہے! (21)

Countless numbers of scholars and scientists wrote on various aspects of the miraculous nature of the Glorious Qur'an. They tried hard to tackle its wording, meanings, news of the ancients, and news of the unseen, but all they could get is like what a small sparrow can get with its pointed beak from the great ocean! (21)
