الف--- پہلا: نفاقِ اکبر:

A--- First: the Major Hypocrisy:

اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: {بے شک منافق اللہ کو دھوکہ دینے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں، مگر وہ خود انہیں دھوکہ دے رہا ہے۔ اور جب وہ نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے ہیں تو سستی کے ساتھ کھڑے ہوتے ہیں اور لوگوں کو دکھانے کے لیے کرتے ہیں، اور اللہ کو بہت کم یاد کرتے ہیں۔ (وہ) اس طرف اور اس طرف جھولتے پھرتے ہیں، نہ ان کے ساتھ ہیں اور نہ ان کے ساتھ؛ اور جسے اللہ گمراہ کر دے، آپ اس کے لیے (حق یعنی اسلام تک پہنچنے کا) کوئی راستہ نہیں پائیں گے۔ اے ایمان والو! مومنوں کے بجائے کافروں کو اولیاء (حامی، مددگار یا دوست) نہ بناؤ۔ کیا تم چاہتے ہو کہ اللہ تمہارے خلاف تمہارے خلاف کوئی واضح حجت قائم کر دے؟ بے شک منافق آگ کے سب سے نچلے درجے میں ہوں گے، اور تم ان کے لیے کوئی مددگار نہیں پاؤ گے}۔ (سورۃ النساء، 142-145)

Allah the Almighty says: {Verily, the hypocrites seek to deceive Allah, but it is He Who deceives them. And when they stand up for As-Salat (the Prayer), they stand with laziness and to be seen of men, and they do not remember Allah but little. (They are)swaying between this and that, belonging neither to these nor to those; and he whom Allah sends astray, you will not find for him a way (to the truth -Islam). 0 you who believe! Take not for Auliya' (protectors or helpers or friends) disbelievers instead of believers. Do you wish to offer Allah a manifest proof against yourselves? Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depth (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them}. (An-Nisa', 142-145)
