الف--- یومِ آخرت پر ایمان لانے کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اس بات کا سچا اور غیر متزلزل یقین ہو کہ اس کا وقوع پذیر ہونا ناگزیر اور ناقابلِ مزاحمت ہے۔ اس عقیدے میں درج ذیل امور شامل ہیں: قیامت کی ناگزیر نشانیوں اور علامات پر ایمان لانا، موت اور اس کے بعد کے حالات پر، قبر کے فتنے، اس کی نعمتوں اور عذاب پر، صور پھونکے جانے پر، تمام مخلوقات کا اپنی قبروں سے نکلنے پر، اس دن کے میدانِ حشر کی ہولناکیوں اور سنگینیوں پر، مقامِ محشر کی تفصیلات پر، اعمال کے ناموں (نامہ اعمال) کے اڑائے جانے پر، میزان کے قائم ہونے پر، صراطِ مستقیم پر، حوض پر، شفاعتِ کبریٰ پر، جنت اور اس کی نعمتوں پر، اللہ تعالیٰ کے دیدار کے اجر پر، اور جہنم اور اس کے شدید عذاب اور سزا پر ایمان لانا۔

A--- To have Faith in the Last Day means to have a true and immovable belief that its taking place is inevitable and irresistible. This belief encompasses the following: to believe in the inevitable signs and portents of the Hour, in death and what follows it, in the trial of the grave, its blessings and torment, in the blowing of the Horn, in the coming out of all creatures from their graves, in the terrors and gravities of the stand on that Day, in the details of the Gathering Place, in the flying over of the records (of deeds), in the setting of the Balance, in the Straight Path, in the Cistern, in the Great Intercession, in Paradise and its blessings, in the reward of looking at the Face of Allah the Almighty, and to believe in the Hell-Fire and its severe torture and torment.
