اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے جلیل القدر قرآن میں فرماتا ہے، {اے ایمان والو! اللہ پر اور اس کے رسول ﷺ پر اور اس کتاب پر جو اس نے اپنے رسول ﷺ پر نازل فرمائی اور اس کتاب پر جو اس نے اپنے سے پہلے لوگوں پر نازل فرمائی}۔ (سورۃ النساء، 136) اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: {کہہ دیجیے، "ہم ایمان لائے اللہ پر اور اس پر جو ہماری طرف نازل کیا گیا اور اس پر جو ابراہیمؑ، اسماعیلؑ، اسحاقؑ، یعقوبؑ اور اسباط [یعقوبؑ کی بارہ اولاد] پر نازل کیا گیا اور اس پر جو موسیٰؑ کو دیا گیا}۔

A--- Allah the Almighty says in His Glorious Qur'an, {O you who believe! Believe in Allah, and His Messenger (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), and the Book (the Qur'an) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him)}. (An-Nisa', 136) Allah says: {Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma`il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya`qub (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Musa (Moses)

اور عیسیٰ علیہ السلام، اور وہ سب کچھ جو ان کے رب کی طرف سے انبیاء کو دیا گیا ہے۔ ہم ان میں سے کسی کے درمیان کوئی فرق نہیں کرتے اور ہم نے اسی کے آگے سرِ تسلیم خم کر دیا ہے۔ {سورۃ البقرہ، 136}

and `Isa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)}.(AI-Baqarah, 136)

اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: {کہہ دیجیے کہ میں ایمان لایا اس پر جو اللہ نے نازل فرمایا، یعنی وہ کتاب [تمام مقدس کتابیں، یہ قرآن اور پرانی کتابیں مثلاً تورات، یا انجیل یا ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے صحیفے]}۔ [سورۃ الشوریٰ، 15]

Allah says: (Say: I believe in whatsoever Allah has sent down of the Book [all the holy Books, - this Qur'an and the Books of the old from the Taurat (Torah), or the Injeel (Gospel) or the Pages of Ibrahim (Abraham)]}. (Ash-Shura, 15)
