الف--- وہ پانچ ہیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے قرآنِ کریم میں دو مقامات پر ان کا ذکر فرمایا ہے:

A--- They are five. Allah the Almighty mentioned them on two locations in His Glorious Qur'an:

پہلی: سورۃ الاحزاب میں جو کہ ہے، {اور (یاد کرو) جب ہم نے انبیاء سے ان کا عہد لیا، اور آپ ﷺ سے، اور نوحؑ، ابراہیمؑ، موسیٰؑ اور مریم کے بیٹے عیسیٰؑ سے۔ ہم نے ان سے ایک مضبوط عہد لیا}۔ [سورۃ الاحزاب، 7]

The first: in Surah Al-Ahzab that reads, {And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him» and from Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), and `Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary). We took from them a strong covenant}. (Al-Ahzab, 7)

دوسری (دلیل): سورۃ الشوریٰ میں ہے، {اس (اللہ) نے تمہارے لیے وہی دین مقرر کیا ہے جو نوح علیہ السلام کے لیے مقرر کیا تھا، اور وہی جو ہم نے آپ ﷺ کی طرف وحی کیا، اور وہی جو ہم نے ابراہیم علیہ السلام، موسیٰ علیہ السلام اور عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کے لیے مقرر کیا تھا، (یہ کہہ کر) کہ دین کو قائم کرو (یعنی وہ کرو جس کا دین حکم دیتا ہے) اور اس میں گروہ بندی نہ کرو (یعنی دین میں مختلف فرقے نہ بناؤ)۔ مشرکوں کے لیے وہ (توحید) ناقابلِ قبول ہے جس کی طرف آپ ﷺ (بلائے)۔۔۔

The second: in Surah Ash-Shura that reads, {He (Allah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islamic Monotheism) which He ordained for Nuh (Noah), and that which We have revealed to you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), and that which We ordained for Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses) and `Isa (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion). Intolerable for the Mushrikun, is that (Islamic Monotheism) to which you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))
