الف--- بدعت، سنت کی ضد ہے۔

A--- Innovation is the antonym of Sunnah.

بدعت کا مطلب ہے ایسی چیز کی شریعت وضع کرنا جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے مقرر نہیں کیا۔ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ کا اس سے یہی مطلب ہے جب آپ ﷺ فرماتے ہیں: "جس نے ہمارے اس دین میں کوئی ایسی نئی چیز شامل کی جو اس سے نہیں ہے، تو وہ مردود ہے۔" [البخاری اور مسلم]

Innovation means to legislate what has not been ordained by Allah the Almighty. Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) means this when he says: "If any of you introduces into this affair of ours "religion” anything which does not belong to it, it is rejected.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

آپ ﷺ فرماتے ہیں: "میری سنت اور میرے بعد خلفائے راشدین کے طریقے کو مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھو، اسے مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھو، اور بدعتوں سے بچو کیونکہ ہر بدعت گمراہی ہے۔" [ابوداؤد، ترمذی اور ابن ماجہ]

He (Peace be upon him) says: "Stick to my Sunnah and the way of the rightly-guided Caliphs (those who come) after me, stick to it, adhere thereto firmly, and be ware of innovations for every innovation is a misguidance." (Abu Dawud, AtTirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

آپ ﷺ فرماتے ہیں: "... اور یہ امت تہتر فرقوں میں بٹ جائے گی، جن میں سے تمام جہنم میں ہوں گے سوائے ایک کے، اور وہ یہ ہے: جو اس (راہ) پر ہو جس پر میں اور میرے صحابہ آج ہیں، یعنی قرآن اور نبی ﷺ کی سنت پر۔" [ابوداؤد، ترمذی اور ابن ماجہ]

He (Peace be upon him) says: "... and this nation will be divided into seventy-three religious sects, -all in Hell, except one, and that one is: on which I and my companions are today, i.e. following the Qur'an and the Prophet's Sunnah.”(Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

اللہ تعالیٰ نے بدعت پسند لوگوں سے ان ﷺ کی براءت کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے فرمایا: {بے شک جن لوگوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور گروہ گروہ بن گئے، آپ ﷺ کا ان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے۔

Allah the Almighty declared his (Peace be upon him) innocence from belonging to the people of Innovations, saying: {Verily, those who divide their religion and break up into sects (all kinds of religious sects), you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) have no concern in them in the least.

{ان کا معاملہ تو صرف اللہ ہی کے پاس ہے}۔ (سورۃ الانعام، 159)

Their affair is only with Allah}. (Al-An' am, 159)
