Die Besten unter ihnen waren diejenigen, die als Erste den Islam angenommen haben, von den Muhajirun (jenen, die von Mekka nach Al-Madinah auswanderten) und den Ansar (den Bewohnern von Al-Madinah, die den Muhajirun halfen und ihnen Unterstützung gewährten), dann die Leute von Badr, dann Uhud, dann die Huldigung von Ar-Ridwan usw.

A ---The best amongst them were the foremost to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Mecca to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun), then the people of Badr, then Uhud, then the Pledge of Ar-Ridwan, etc.

Allah, der Erhabene, spricht: {Nicht gleich unter euch sind diejenigen, die vor der Eroberung (Mekkas) spendeten und kämpften (mit denen unter euch, die dies später taten). Diese stehen im Rang höher als jene, die danach spendeten und kämpften. Doch allen hat Allah das Beste (an Belohnung) verheißen}. (Al-Hadid, 10)

Allah the Almighty says: {Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Mecca, with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all Allah has promised the best (reward)}. (AlHadid, 10)
