A--- Estos son cinco, todos los cuales pertenecen al conocimiento:

A--- These are five, all of which belong to know ledge:

Primero: Registrar los decretos de uno cincuenta mil años antes de la creación de los cielos y la tierra, cuando Allah el Altísimo creó la Pluma. Esto se llama el Decreto Eterno Previo.

First: Recording one's ordainments fifty thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth when the Pen was created by Allah the Almighty. This is called the Eternal Pre-ordainment.

Segundo: La predestinación de la vida: cuando Allah, el Altísimo, tomó el Pacto de los hijos de Adán, {Y (recuerda) cuando tu Señor sacó de los hijos de Adán, de sus lomos, a su descendencia (o de los lomos de Adán, a su descendencia) e hizo que dieran testimonio contra sí mismos (diciendo): "¿Acaso no soy Yo vuestro Señor?". Dijeron: "¡Sí! Damos testimonio", para que no digáis el Día de la Resurrección: "Verdaderamente, nosotros no lo sabíamos". O para que no digáis: "Sólo nuestros padres asociaban copartícipes a Allah desde antiguo, y nosotros somos su descendencia después de ellos. ¿Vas a destruirnos por lo que hicieron los que practicaban la falsedad (es decir, el politeísmo, cometer delitos y pecados, invocar y adorar a otros además de Allah)?"}. (Al-A'raf, 172, 173)

Second: The Life-time Pre-ordainment: when Allah the Almighty took the Covenant from the Children of Adam, {And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify," lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: "Verily, we have been unaware of this." Or lest you should say: "It was only our fathers aforetime who took others as partners in worship along with Allah. And we were (merely their) descendants after them; will You then destroy us because of the deeds of men who practiced Al-Batil (i.e. polytheism and committing crimes and sins, invoking and worshipping others besides Allah)?”). (Al-A' raf, 172, 173)

Tercero: La predestinación de la vida: cuando la Nutfah (las gotas mezcladas de la secreción sexual masculina y femenina) recibe vida dentro del útero.

Third: The Life-time Pre-ordainment: when the Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge) is given life inside the womb.

Cuarto: La predeterminación anual: en la Noche del Destino, Laylat Al-Qadr.

Fourth: The Annual Pre-ordainment: on Lailat Al-Qadr the Night of Might.

Quinto: La predestinación diaria, que consiste en llevar a cabo todas estas cosas en sus momentos apropiados.

Fifth: The Daily Pre-ordainment: which is carrying out all these at their proper times.
