Q 18: What does the testimony, "There is no god but Allah" mean?
A ---Significa que nadie tiene derecho a ser adorado sino Allah, Quien no tiene socios ni rivales con Él en la adoración ni en el dominio. Allah, el Altísimo, dice:

Eso es porque Allah -Él es la Verdad (el único Dios verdadero de todo lo que existe, Quien no tiene socios ni rivales junto a Él), y lo que ellos (los politeístas) invocan además de Él, es Balil (falsedad). Y ciertamente, Allah -Él es el Altísimo, el Grandioso. (Al-Hach, 62)
That is because Allah -He is the Truth (the only True God of all that exists, Who has no partners or rivals with Him), and what they (the polytheists) invoke besides Him, it is Balil (falsehood). And verily, Allah - He is the Most High, the Most Great. (Al-Hajj, 62)
