Debemos aconsejar a los gobernantes siguiéndolos en la verdad y obedeciéndolos en lo que es verdadero, ordenándoles que se mantengan firmes en la verdad y recordándoles amablemente la verdad. Debemos rezar detrás de ellos, combatir con ellos, pagarles el Zakat y la caridad, ser pacientes con ellos aunque se hayan vuelto transgresores, y no separarnos de ellos por la fuerza a menos que muestren una incredulidad manifiesta. Asimismo, no debemos alabarlos en exceso de forma que los lleve a extraviarse. Debemos suplicar a Allah el Todopoderoso que los guíe y les conceda pleno éxito.

A--- We should pay counsel to the people of authority by following them on the truth and obeying them in truth, ordering them to stick to the truth and reminding them kindly of the truth. We should pray behind them, fight with them, paying Zakah and charity to them, being patient towards them even if they became transgressors, quitting seceding oneself from them with force unless they show clear disbelief. Also, we should not over-praise them in a way to mislead them. We should supplicate Allah the Almighty to guide them and grant them full success.
