A--- El Wali es quien cree en Allah, Le teme, sigue Su Camino recto y sigue a Su Mensajero ﷺ.

A--- The Wali is the one who believes in Allah, fears Him, follows His Straight Path, and follows His Messenger (Peace be upon him).

Dice Allah el Todopoderoso: {¡Ciertamente! Los allegados de Allah, no tendrán temor alguno ni se entristecerán}. (Yunus, 62)

Allah the Almighty says: {No doubt! Verily, the Auliya' of Allah, no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve}. (Yunus, 62)

Luego, Él dice: {Aquellos que creyeron (en la Unicidad de Allah - el monoteísmo islámico) y temían mucho a Allah (absteniéndose de las malas acciones y los pecados, y haciendo las buenas obras)}. (Yunus, 63)

Then, He says: {Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and used to fear Allah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds)}. (Yunus, 63)

Allah el Altísimo dice: {Allah es el Wali (Protector o Guardián)

Allah the Almighty says: {Allah is the Wali (Protector or Guardian)

de aquellos que creen. Él los saca de las tinieblas a la luz.

of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light.

Pero en cuanto a quienes no creen, sus Awliya' (protectores y aliados) son los Taghut [falsas deidades y falsos líderes]; los sacan de la luz a la oscuridad}. (Al-Baqarah, 257)

But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliya' (supporters and helpers) are Taghut [false deities and false leaders], they bring them out from light into darkness}. (Al-Baqarah, 257)

Alá, el Altísimo, dice: {Ciertamente, vuestro Wali (Protector o Aliado) no es sino Alá, Su Mensajero y los creyentes, quienes establecen la Salat, dan la Zakat y se inclinan (en sumisión)34.

Allah the Almighty says: {Verily, your Wali (Protector or Helper) is none other than Allah, HisMessenger, and the believers, - those who perform As -Salat, and give Zakah, and they are Raki'un34.

Y quien tome a Allah, a Su Mensajero ﷺ y a los que han creído como protectores, entonces el Partido de Allah será el vencedor}. (Al-Ma'idah, 55, 56) Wait, I need to correct a mistake: the opening of the verse should not have a stray closing brace. Corrected: Y quien tome a Allah, a Su Mensajero ﷺ y a los que han creído como protectores, entonces el Partido de Allah será el vencedor. (Al-Ma'idah, 55, 56)

And whosoever takes Allah, His Messenger, and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the Party of Allah will be the victorious}. (Al-Ma'idah, 55, 56)

El Mensajero de Allah ﷺ dijo: «Ciertamente, la familia de fulano no son mis Auliya' (aliados y protectores); mis Auliya' no son sino las personas piadosas». (Sahih Al-Bujari)

Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: "Verily, the household of so and so are not my Auliya' (helpers and protectors), my Auliya' are none but the pious people.” (Sahih Bukhari)

Al-Hasan (que Allah le conceda Su misericordia) dijo: Algunas personas afirmaron que amaban a Allah, así que Él los puso a prueba con este versículo: {Di (¡oh, Muhammad!, a la humanidad): "Si de verdad amáis a Allah, seguidme, y Allah os amará y os perdonará vuestros pecados. Y Allah es Absolvedor, Misericordioso"}. (Al 'Imran, 31)

Al-Hasan (May Allah grant him Mercy) said: Some people claimed that they love Allah, so He tried them with this verse: {Say (O Muhammad to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful}. (Al 'Imran, 31)

El Imam Ash-Shafi'i (que Allah le conceda Misericordia) dijo: Si ves a un hombre que camina sobre la superficie del agua, o que vuela en el aire, no le creas ni te dejes engañar por él hasta que sepas (con certeza) que sigue (con fervor) la Ley.

Imam Ash-Shafi'i (May Allah grant him Mercy) said: If you see a man walks on the surface of water, or flies in the air, don't believe him or be misled by him till you know (for certain) that he follows (earnestly)
