A--- Geloof hebben in de Laatste Dag betekent een ware en onwrikbare overtuiging te hebben dat de komst ervan onvermijdelijk en onweerstaanbaar is. Dit geloof omvat het volgende: geloven in de onvermijdelijke tekenen en voortekenen van het Uur, in de dood en wat daarop volgt, in de beproeving van het graf, de zegeningen en de straf ervan, in het blazen op de Hoorn, in het opstaan van alle schepselen uit hun graven, in de verschrikkingen en de ernst van de opstanding op die Dag, in de details van de Plaats van Vergadering, in het rondvliegen van de registers (van daden), in het opstellen van de Weegschaal, in het Rechte Pad, in de Bron, in de Grote Intercessie, in het Paradijs en de zegeningen ervan, in de beloning van het aanschouwen van het Gelaat van Allah de Almachtige, en geloven in het Hellevuur en de zware marteling en straf ervan.

A--- To have Faith in the Last Day means to have a true and immovable belief that its taking place is inevitable and irresistible. This belief encompasses the following: to believe in the inevitable signs and portents of the Hour, in death and what follows it, in the trial of the grave, its blessings and torment, in the blowing of the Horn, in the coming out of all creatures from their graves, in the terrors and gravities of the stand on that Day, in the details of the Gathering Place, in the flying over of the records (of deeds), in the setting of the Balance, in the Straight Path, in the Cistern, in the Great Intercession, in Paradise and its blessings, in the reward of looking at the Face of Allah the Almighty, and to believe in the Hell-Fire and its severe torture and torment.
