A --- Het betekent te geloven dat er slechts één Heer voor het universum is, Hij is de Schepper, de Organisator, de Planner, de Onderhouder en de Gevers van veiligheid, enzovoort, en dat is Allah. Hij is Allah, Die geen partner heeft in (Zijn)

A ---It means to believe in that there is only one Lord for the universe, He is its Creator, Organizer, Planner, Sustainer, and the Giver of security, etc., and that is Allah. He is Allah, Who has neither a partner in (His)

...heerschappij, noch is Hij te laag om een beschermer of steun te hebben. Niemand kan Zijn oordeel tarten of Zijn voorschriften uitdagen. Almachtige Allah zegt:

Dominion, nor He is low to have a protector or supporter. No one can defy His Judgment or challenge His Ordainments. Almighty Allah says:

Alle lof en dank zijn aan Allah, Die (alleen) de hemelen en de aarde heeft geschapen, en de duisternis en het licht heeft voortgebracht; maar zij die ongeloven, stellen anderen gelijk aan hun Heer.

{All praises and thanks be to Allah, Who (Alone) created the heavens and the earth, and originated the darkness and the light; yet those who disbelieve hold others as equal with their Lord}.

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Alloep voor Allah, de Heer der Werelden}.

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Zeg (o Muhammad): "Wie is de Heer van de hemelen en de aarde?" Zeg: "(Het is) Allah." Zeg: "Hebben jullie dan Auliya' (beschermers) naast Hem genomen, die geen macht hebben om zichzelf noch voordeel noch schade toe te brengen?" Zeg: "Is de blinde gelijk aan degene die ziet? Of is duisternis gelijk aan licht? Of kennen zij partners toe aan Allah die het gelijke van Zijn schepping hebben geschapen, zodat de schepping (die zij maakten en Zijn schepping) voor hen gelijk leek?" Zeg: "Allah is de Schepper van alle dingen, en Hij is de Enige, de Onweerstaanbare}. (Ar-Ra'd, 16)

Allah the Almighty says: {Say (O Muhammad): "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?” Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Have you then taken (for worship) Auliya' (protectors) other than Him, such as have no power either for benefit or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Is the blind equal to the one who sees? Or darkness equal to light? Or do they assign to Allah partners who created the like of His creation, so that the creation (which theymade and His creation) seemed alike to them?" Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Irresistible}. (Ar-Ra'd, 16)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Allah is Degene die jullie heeft geschapen, daarna voorzien heeft van voedsel, daarna jullie zal doen sterven, en daarna (opnieuw) leven zal schenken (op de Dag van de Opstanding). Is er een van jullie (zogenaamde) partners (van Allah) die zoiets doet?}

Allah the Almighty says: {Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (so-called) partners (of Allah) that do anything of that?

Eer aan Hem! En Verheven is Hij boven alles wat zij (aan Hem) toekennen. (Ar-Rum, 40)

Glory is to Him! And Exalted is He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him)}. (Ar-Rum, 40)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Dit is de schepping van Allah. Laat mij zien wat zij (die naast Hem worden aanbeden) hebben geschapen}.

Allah the Almighty says: {This is the creation of Allah. So show Me that which those (whom you worship besides Him have created}.

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Zijn zij uit niets geschapen, of zijn zij zelf de scheppers? Of hebben zij de hemelen en de aarde geschapen? Nee, maar zij hebben geen vast geloof}. (At-Tur, 35, 36)

Allah the Almighty says: {Were they created by nothing? Or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief}. (At-Tur, 35, 36)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {De Heer van de hemelen en de aarde, en alles wat daartussen is, dus aanbid Hem (Alleen) en wees standvastig en geduldig in Zijn aanbidding. Ken jij iemand die aan Hem gelijk is?} 1. (Maryam, 65)

Allah the Almighty says: {Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him?}1. (Maryam, 65)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Niets is aan Hem gelijk en Hij is de Alhoorder, de Alziende}. (Ash-Shura, 11)

Allah the Almighty says: (There is nothing like unto Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer}. (Ash-Shura, 11)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {En zeg: "Alle lof en dank zijn aan Allah, Die geen zoon heeft verwekt (of nakomelingen), en Die geen partner heeft in (Zijn) Heerschappij, noch Hij is te laag om een Wali (helper, beschermer of steun) te hebben. En verheerlijk Hem met alle grootsheid, [Allahu-Akbar (Allah is de Meest Groot)].} (Al-Isra', 111)

Allah the Almighty says: {And say: "All the praises and thanks are to Allah, Who has not begotten a son (or offspring), and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, nor He is low to have a Wali (helper, protector or supporter). And magnify Him with all magnificence, [Allahu-Akbar (Allah is the Most Great)]}. (Al-Isra', 111)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Zeg: (O Muhammad, tegen de polytheïsten, heidenen) "Roep aan hen tot wie jullie beweren (om als mede-goden te dienen)}

Allah the Almighty says: {Say: (O Muhammad to polytheists, pagans) "Call upon those whom you assert (to be associate gods)

Naast Allah bezitten zij niet eens het gewicht van een atoom, noch in de hemelen noch op de aarde, en zij hebben geen enkel aandeel in de een of de ander, en er is voor Hem geen enkele helper onder hen. Bemiddeling bij Hem is niet nuttig, behalve voor degene voor wie Hij het toestaat. Zelfs zozeer dat wanneer de angst uit hun (engelen) harten verdwijnt, zij (engelen) zeggen: "Wat heeft uw Heer gezegd?" Zij zeggen: "De waarheid. En Hij is de Allerhoogste, de Aller Grootste." (Saba', 22, 23)

besides Allah, they possess not even an atom's weight either in the heavens or on the earth, nor have they any share in either, nor there is for Him any supporter from among them. Intercession with Him profits not except for him whom He permits. So much so that when fear is banished from their (angels') hearts, they (angels) say: "What is it that your Lord has said?" They say: "The truth. And He is the Most High, the Most Great}. (Saba', 22, 23)
