A--- Het zijn er vijf. Allah de Almachtige heeft hen op twee plaatsen in Zijn Glorieuze Koran vermeld:

A--- They are five. Allah the Almighty mentioned them on two locations in His Glorious Qur'an:

De eerste: in soera Al-Ahzab, waarin staat: {En (gedenk) toen Wij van de profeten hun verbond namen, en van jou (o Muhammad ﷺ) en van Nuh (Noach), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Mozes) en `Isa (Jezus) zoon van Maryam (Maria). Wij namen van hen een stevig verbond}. (Al-Ahzab, 7)

The first: in Surah Al-Ahzab that reads, {And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him» and from Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), and `Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary). We took from them a strong covenant}. (Al-Ahzab, 7)

De tweede: in soera Ash-Shura die luidt: {Hij (Allah) heeft voor jullie dezelfde religie (Islamitisch Monotheïsme) bepaald als Hij heeft bepaald voor Nuh (Noach), en datgene wat Wij aan jullie hebben geopenbaard (o Muhammad ﷺ), en datgene wat Wij hebben bepaald voor Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Mozes) en `Isa (Jezus), zeggend dat jullie de religie moeten vestigen (d.w.z. praktisch doen wat het jullie gebiedt), en geen verdeeldheid daarin moeten zaaien (religie) (d.w.z. verschillende sektes in de religie). Onverdraaglijk voor de Mushrikun (afgodendienaars), is dat (Islamitisch Monotheïsme) waartoe jullie (o Muhammad ﷺ)

The second: in Surah Ash-Shura that reads, {He (Allah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islamic Monotheism) which He ordained for Nuh (Noah), and that which We have revealed to you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), and that which We ordained for Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses) and `Isa (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion). Intolerable for the Mushrikun, is that (Islamic Monotheism) to which you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))

Roep hen aan. Allah kiest voor Zichzelf wie Hij wil, en leidt naar Zichzelf wie tot Hem terugkeert in berouw en in gehoorzaamheid.

call them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides unto Himself who turns to Him in repentance and in obedience}.
