A --- Er zijn vele bewijzen hiervoor uit de profetische traditie (Sunnah), waarvan de volgende de belangrijkste zijn:

A ---There are many evidences thereof from the Prophetic Sunnah, foremost among which are the following:

De Boodschapper van Allah ﷺ zegt: "Ik zoek toevlucht bij U tegen het kwaad van alles wat U bij de haren grijpt (U heeft er de volledige controle over). O Allah, U bent de Eerste, er is niets voor U, en U bent de Laatste, en er is niets na U, en U bent de Openbare, en er is niets boven U, en U bent de Al-Nabije, en er is niets voorbij U. Verwijder de last van de schuld van ons en verlos ons van gebrek." (Bukhari)

Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: "I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of everything Thou art to seize by the forelock (Thou hast perfect control over it). O Allah, Thou art the First, there is naught before Thee, and Thou art the Last and there is naught after Thee, and Thou art Evident and there is nothing above Thee, and Thou art Innermost and there is nothing beyond Thee. Remove the burden of debt from us and relieve us from want.”(Bukhari)

Hij ﷺ zegt: "O Allah! Ik ben Uw dienaar, en de zoon van Uw dienaar, en de zoon van Uw dienstmaagd, mijn voorhoofd is in Uw Hand, Uw Besluit is effectief met betrekking tot mij, en Uw Oordeel is rechtvaardig wat mij betreft." (Sahih Bukhari)

He (Peace be upon him) says: "O Allah! I am Your slave, and the son of Your slave, and the son of Your maid, my forelock is at Your Hand, Your Ruling is Effective regarding me, and Your Judgment is Just pertaining to me.” (Sahih Bukhari)
