A--- De Profeet ﷺ legde dit uit toen hij er door Gabriel (vrede zij met hem) naar werd gevraagd, zeggende: "Dat je Allah aanbidt alsof je Hem ziet, want hoewel je Hem niet ziet, Hij ziet jou, waarheid." (Bukhari en Muslim) Zo legde de Profeet ﷺ uit dat er twee verschillende rangen zijn:

A--- The Prophet (Peace be upon him) explained it when asked about it by Gabriel (Peace be upon him) saying: "That you worship Allah as if you are seeing Him, for though you don't see Him, He, verily, sees you." (Bukhari and Muslim) Thus, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) explained that there are two different ranks:

Ten eerste: De rang van het Zien: dat de aanbidder handelt op basis van zijn zien van Allah de Almachtige met zijn hart. Dit betekent dat het hart wordt verlicht met het licht van het geloof, en dat het inzicht zo scherp wordt dat het onzichtbare zichtbaar wordt voor zijn ogen. Voorwaar, dit is de werkelijkheid van de rang van Ihsan (volmaaktheid van het geloof).

First: The Seeing rank: that the worshiper acts upon his seeing of Allah the Almighty with his heart. This means that the heart gets illuminated with the light of faith, the insight gets sharper till the unseen becomes visible before his eyes. Verily, this is the reality of the Ihsan (Perfection of Faith) rank.
