A ---Allah de Almachtige zegt: {O mensheid! Als jullie twijfelen over de Wederopstanding, dan hebben Wij jullie (d.w.z. Adam) werkelijk geschapen uit stof, daarna uit een Nutfah (gemengde druppels mannelijke en vrouwelijke geslachtsvloeistof, d.w.z. het nageslacht van Adam), daarna uit een bloedklont, daarna uit een klein stukje vlees, waarvan sommige gevormd zijn en sommige niet gevormd (zoals in het geval van een miskraam)}

A ---Allah the Almighty says: {O mankind! If you are in doubt about be Resurrection, then verily We have created you (i.e. Adam) from dust, then from a Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge i.e. the offspring of Adam), then from a clot (apiece of thick coagulated blood) then from a little lump of flesh some - formed and some unformed (as in the case of miscarriage)

- opdat Wij het aan u duidelijk maken (dat wil zeggen, om u Onze Macht en Bekwaamheid te tonen om te doen wat Wij willen). En Wij laten wie Wij willen in de baarmoeders voor een vastgestelde termijn, daarna brengen Wij u naar buiten als zuigelingen, daarna (laten Wij u groeien) opdat u uw leeftijd van volledige kracht bereikt. En onder u is hij die sterft (jong), en onder u is hij die wordt teruggebracht naar een ellendige ouderdom, zodat hij niets meer weet nadat hij had geweten. En u ziet de aarde onvruchtbaar, maar wanneer Wij water (regen) daarop neerdalen, wordt zij opgewekt (tot leven), en zij zwelt aan en laat elk prachtig soort (groei) voortkomen. Dat is omdat Allah: Hij is de Waarheid, en Hij is Degene die de doden tot leven wekt, en Hij is Degene die in staat is tot alle dingen. En zeker, het Uur komt, er is geen twijfel over, en zeker, Allah zal degenen die in de graven zijn, opwekken. (Al-Hajj, 5-7)

- that We may make (it) clear to you (i.e. to show you Our Power and Ability to do what We will). And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then (give you growth) that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies (young), and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) on it, it is stirred (to life), and it swells and puts forth every lovely kind (of growth). That is because Allah: He is the Truth, and it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who is Able to do all things. And surely, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, and certainly, Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves}.(Al-Hajj, 5-7)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {En Hij is Degene die de schepping begint, daarna zal Hij deze herhalen (nadat deze is vergaan); en dit is gemakkelijker voor Hem}. (Ar-Rum, 27)

Allah the Almighty says: {And He it is Who originates the creation, then He will repeat it (after it has been perished); and this is easier for Him}.(Ar-Rum, 27)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: Zoals Wij de eerste schepping begonnen, zullen Wij deze herhalen. (Het is) een belofte die op Ons bindend is. Waarlijk, Wij zullen het doen.

Allah the Almighty says: As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise binding upon is. Truly, We shall do it}.

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {En de mens (de ongelovige) zegt: "Zal ik, wanneer ik dood ben, dan weer levend worden opgewekt?" Houdt de mens niet in gedachten dat Wij hem eerder hebben geschapen, terwijl hij niets was}.

Allah the Almighty says: {And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive ?" Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing}.

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {Ziet de mens niet dat Wij hem hebben geschapen uit Nutfah (gemengde mannelijke en vrouwelijke geslachtsvloeistof - zaaddruppels)? Toch staat hij (tegenover Ons) als een openlijke tegenstander.}

Allah the Almighty says: {Does not man see that We have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female sexual discharge - semen drops). Yet behold he (stands forth) as an open opponent.

En hij spreekt voor ons een gelijkenis uit, terwijl hij zijn eigen schepping vergeet.

And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation.

Hij zegt: "Wie zal deze botten tot leven wekken nadat zij vergaan zijn en tot stof zijn geworden?" Zeg: (0 Muhammad ﷺ) "Hij zal hen tot leven wekken Die hen voor de eerste maal heeft geschapen! En Hij is de Alwetende van elke schepping!" Hij Die voor jullie vuur voortbrengt uit de groene boom, wanneer jullie daarmee een vuur aansteken. Is Hij Die de hemelen en de aarde heeft geschapen, niet in staat om het gelijke daarvan te scheppen? Ja, zeker weten! Hij is de Alwetende, de Alomvattende Schepper. Voorwaar, Zijn bevel, wanneer Hij iets beoogt, is slechts dat Hij ertegen zegt: 'Wees!' - en het is! Dus geprezen is Hij en verheven boven het onrecht dat zij met Hem vergelijken, en bij Wie de heerschappij over alle zaken is: en tot Hem zullen jullie worden teruggebracht. (Ya-Sin, 77-83)

He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust?" Say: (0 Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!" He Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold you kindle therewith. Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth, Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All Knowing Supreme Creator. Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, 'Be!" - and it is! So glorified is He and exalted above ill that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him you shall be returned}. (Ya-Sin, 77-83)

Allah the Almighty says: {Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and was not wearied by their creation, is Able to give life to the dead? Yes, He surely is Able to do all things. And on the Day when those who disbelieve will be exposed to the Fire (it will be said to them): "Is this not the truth?" They will say: "Yes, By our Lord!" He will say: "Then taste the torment, because you used to disbelieve!" Therefore be patient (0

Muhammad ﷺ, zoals de Boodschappers van sterke wil, en haast u niet over hen (de ongelovigen). Op de Dag dat zij die (straf) waarmee zij worden bedreigd, zullen zien, zal het zijn alsof zij niet meer dan een uur in een enkele dag hebben verbleven. (O mensheid! Deze Koran is voldoende als) een duidelijke Boodschap (of proclamatie om jezelf te redden van vernietiging). Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) as did the Messengers of strong will and be in no haste about them (disbelievers). On the Day when they will see that (torment) with which they are promised (i.e. threatened, it will be) as if they had not stayed more than an hour in a single day. (0 mankind! This Qur'an is sufficient as) a clear Message (or proclamation to save yourself from destruction). But shall any be destroyed except the people who are AI-Fasiqun (the rebellious against Allah's Command, the disobedient to Allah)?}. (Al-Ahqaf, 33)

Allah de Almachtige zegt: {En onder Zijn Tekenen (hierin) is dat u de aarde onvruchtbaar ziet; maar wanneer Wij daar water (regen) naar neerdalen, komt zij tot leven en groeit (vegetatie). Voorwaar, Degene die haar leven geeft, is zeker in staat om de doden tot leven te wekken (op de Dag van de Opstanding). Voorwaar, Hij is in staat tot alle dingen}. (Fussilat, 39)

Allah the Almighty says: {And among His Signs (in this), that you see the earth barren; but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stiffed to life and growth (of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed He is Able to do all thing(s}. (Fussilat, 39)

Overgeleverd door Ibn 'Abbas (moge Allah tevreden met hem zijn): Terwijl een man op zijn rijdier in 'Arafat reed, viel hij ervan af en brak zijn nek (en stierf). De Profeet ﷺ zei: "Was hem met water en Sidr en wikkel hem in twee stukken doek, en parfumeer hem niet en bedek zijn hoofd niet, want hij zal op de Dag der Opstanding worden opgewekt terwijl hij zegt: 'Labbaik', (dat wil zeggen: zoals een pelgrim)." (Authentiek (Sahih) Bukhari)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him): While a man was riding (his Mount) in 'Arafat, he fell down from it (his Mount) and broke his neck (and died). The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth, and neither perfume him, nor cover his head, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection saying, 'Labbaik,’ (i.e. like a pilgrim). " (Sahih Bukhari)

Overgeleverd door Khabbab (moge Allah tevreden met hem): Ik was een smid en deed wat werk voor Al'As Ibn Wa'il. Toen hij mij nog wat geld verschuldigd was voor mijn werk, ging ik naar hem om dat bedrag op te vragen. Hij zei: "Ik zal je niet betalen, tenzij je ongelovig wordt in Muhammad." Ik zei: "Bij Allah! Ik zal dat nooit doen totdat jij sterft en zal worden opgewekt." Hij zei: "Zal ik dood zijn en daarna worden opgewekt na mijn dood?" Ik zei: "Ja." Hij zei: "Dan zal ik bezit en nakomelingen hebben en dan zal ik je je recht geven." Toen openbaarde Allah: {Heb je hem gezien die ongelovig is geworden in Onze tekenen, en toch zegt: Ik zal bezit en nakomelingen krijgen?} (19.77) (authentiek (Sahih) Bukhari)

Narrated Khabbab (May Allah be pleased with him): I was a blacksmith and did some work for Al'As Ibn Wa'il. When he owed me some money for my work, I went to him to ask for that amount. He said: "I will not pay you unless you disbelieve in Muhammad." I said: "By Allah! I will never do that till you die and be resurrected.” He said: "Will I be dead and then resurrected after my death?" I said: "Yes." He said: "There I will have property and offspring and then I will pay you your due.” Then Allah revealed, {Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our signs, and yet says: I will be given property and offspring?} (19.77) (Sahih Bukhari)
