Allah zegt: {En de hadj (bedevaart naar Mekka) naar het Huis (Ka'bah) is een plicht die de mensheid aan Allah verschuldigd is, voor degenen die de kosten (voor vervoer, voorziening en verblijf) kunnen dragen}.
Allah says: {And Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) to the House (Ka` bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence)}.
