Overgeleverd door 'Uqbah Ibn 'Amir (moge Allah tevreden met hem zijn): Op een dag ging de Profeet ﷺ naar buiten en bad het begrafenisgebed voor de martelaren van Uhud, en daarna klom hij op de kansel en zei: "Ik zal de weg voor jullie banen zoals jullie voorgangers deden en ik zal een getuige voor jullie zijn. Bij Allah! Ik zie mijn Bron (Kauthar) nu, en mij zijn de sleutels gegeven van alle schatten van de aarde (of de sleutels van de aarde). Bij Allah! Ik ben niet bang dat jullie anderen naast Allah zullen aanbidden na mijn dood, maar ik ben bang dat jullie met elkaar zullen vechten om de wereldse zaken." (Sahih Bukhari)
Narrated 'Uqbah Ibn 'Amir (May Allah be pleased with him): One day the Prophet (Peace be upon him) went out and offered the funeral prayers of the martyrs of Uhud and then went up the pulpit and said: "I will pave the way for you as your predecessor and will be a witness on you. By Allah! I see my Fount (Kauthar) just now and I have been given the keys of all the treasures of the earth (or the keys of the earth). By Allah!
