Q 215 : Quelle est la preuve qu' ‘Umar (qu’Allah l’agrée) a le droit au califat et au titre de successeur d'Abū Bakr ?
Q 215: What is the proof that `Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) has the right to the Caliphate and being a successor to Abu Bakr?
A--- Le Messager d'Allah ﷺ dit : « Je ne sais pas quand je mourrai, alors suivez ceux qui me succéderont. » Il a désigné Abu Bakr et 'Umar (qu'Allah les agrée). (At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ahmed et Al-Hakim)
A--- Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: "I do not know when will I be dead, so follow the two who come after me.” He pointed to Abu Bakr and 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them). (AtTirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ahmed and AI-Hakim)
Narré par Hudhaifah (qu’Allah l’agrée) : « ... 'Umar a dit : 'Je ne voulais pas dire cela, mais je demandais à propos de cette affliction qui se propagera comme les vagues de la mer.' Je (Hudhaifah) ai dit : 'Ô chef des croyants ! Vous n'avez pas à en avoir peur car il y a une porte fermée entre vous et elle.' 'Umar a demandé : 'La porte sera-t-elle brisée ou ouverte ?' J'ai répondu : 'Elle sera brisée.' 'Umar a dit : 'Alors elle ne sera plus jamais fermée.' (Sahih Bukhari) »
