Q 32: What is the textual proof that Sawm (Fasting) is obligatory?
A--- Allah, le Tout-Puissant, dit : {Ô vous qui croyez ! Observez As-Sawm (le Jeûne)(12)}
A--- Allah, the Almighty says: {O you who believe! Observing As-Sawm (the Fasting)(12)
(Il vous a été prescrit comme cela a été prescrit à ceux qui vous ont précédés). (Al-Baqarah, 183)
Is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you). (Al-Baqarah, 183)
Allah dit : {Quiconque parmi vous aperçoit (le croissant lors de la première nuit du mois de ramadan, c'est-à-dire qu'il est présent chez lui), qu'il pratique le jeûne (Sawm) durant ce mois}. (Al-Baqarah, 185)
Allah says: {So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of the month (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Sawm (fasts) that month}. (Al-Baqarah, 185)
