El alquiler es un contrato sobre un beneficio a cambio de una compensación, y es de tres tipos:

Hiring is a contract for a benefit in return for compensation, and it is of three types:

El primer tipo: cuando el contrato recae sobre el beneficio de cosas, como el alquiler de casas, animales, vehículos y similares.

The first type—where the contract came upon the benefit of things like hiring houses, animals, vehicles and the like.

El segundo tipo: aquel en que el contrato recae sobre el beneficio del trabajo, como en el caso de los dueños de industrias y fábricas para un trabajo específico. Es aquel que se contrata sobre el beneficio resultante del trabajo, como la contratación de pintores, herreros, carpinteros y similares.

The second type—where the contract came upon the benefit of work like the owners of industries and factories for specific work. That which is contracted upon the benefit resulting from the work such as hiring painters, ironmongers, carpenters and the like.

El tercer tipo: aquel en que el contrato recae sobre el beneficio de la persona, como la contratación de sirvientes, trabajadores y similares.

The third type—where the contract came upon the benefit of the person like hiring servants and workmen and the like.

La contratación en todas sus modalidades está permitida por la Shari'a. Dijo Allah (SWT):
