Al-Sunnah, en sentido lingüístico, es el método, y en la sharía es el nombre de algunas de las obras voluntarias de adoración transmitidas del Profeta ﷺ. La Sunnah es el nombre de lo que procede del Mensajero de Allah ﷺ en forma de dicho, acción y aprobación. Cuando hablamos de las evidencias de la sharía, todo eso es la Sunnah, y todo ello es lo que se recibe por revelación. Dijo Allah Ta'ala: {Ni habla por capricho} {No es sino una revelación que le ha sido enviada} Sura An-Néy-m (La Estrella), 3-4. Y dijo Allah Ta'ala: {Di: "Yo no soy sino un mensajero de entre los mensajeros... Solo sigo lo que me es revelado"} Sura Al-Anbiyā' (Los Profetas), 45.

Al–Sunnah linguistically is the method, and in the shari'ah it is the name of some of the supererogatory worships transferred from the Prophet (SAW), and the Sunnah is the name of what came from the messenger (SAW) of saying, action and approval, when we talk about the shari'ahi evidences, all that is the sunnah and it is all what is received by the revelation, Allah Ta'ala said: {Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire} {It is no less than inspiration sent down to him} 3 Surat Al-Najm, and He Ta'ala said: to according you warn but do I :Say revelation…} 45 Surat Al-Anbia'.
