A--- アッラーであるアッラーはこう仰せです：{彼はあなたがたを土（アーダム）から創り、またあなたがたが母親の胎内にいた胎児であった時からあなたがたをよくご存じである。だから自分を清純だとしてはならない。彼は、アッラーを畏れ、その御前で身を慎む者（すなわちアル＝ムッタキーン、敬虔な人々）を最もよくご存じである}。（アン＝ナジュム、32）

A--- Allah the Almighty says: {He knows you well when He created you from the earth (Adam), and when you were fetuses in your mothers' wombs. So ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows best him who fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him (i.e. those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}. (An-Najm, 32)

伝承者アブドゥッラー・イブン・マスウード(アッラーが彼を喜ばれますように):アッラーの使徒ﷺは、真実を語られ、真に啓示を受けた方であり、こう言われた。「人間(の創造の過程)は、母親の胎内で四十日間にわたって組み立てられ、その後、同じ期間は濃い血の塊となり、さらに同じ期間は肉片となる。その後、アッラーは天使を遣わし、その天使は四つのことを書き記すよう命じられる。すなわち、その(新たに創られた存在の)行い、生計、死の(時期)、そして宗教において祝福された者となるか、不幸な者となるかである。その後、彼に魂が吹き込まれる。したがって、あなたがたのうちの一人は、彼と楽園との間にわずか一キュビトの距離しかなくなるまで善行を行うかもしれないが、そのとき彼について書き記されたことが彼の振る舞いを決め、彼は(地獄の)火の住人に特有の(悪い)行いを始める。同様に、あなたがたのうちの一人は(悪い行いを)する可能性もある。」

Narrated' Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him): Allah's Messenger, the true and truly inspired said: "(The matter of the Creation of) a human being is put together in the womb of the mother in forty days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period, and then a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his (i.e. the new creature's) deeds, his livelihood, his (date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into him. So, a man amongst you may do (good deeds till there is only a cubit between him and Paradise and then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire. And similarly a man amongst you may do (evil)

…しかし、彼と(地獄の)火との間がわずか一キュビット(約50センチ)ほどになるまで、その者は(人々が)やるような行い(行為)を続けます。そして、その者について書き記されていたことが彼の行いを決定し、彼は楽園の人々に特有の行いをし始めるのです。」(ブハーリーとムスリム)

deeds till there is only a cubit between him and the (Hell) Fire and then what has been written for him decides his behavior, and he starts doing deeds characteristic of the people of Paradise.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
