The relationship of the Sunnah to the Qur’aan and its related categories
O Alcorão e a Sunnah são ambos Wahi de Allah, e fomos ordenados a seguir o que Allah Ta'ala revelou, quer tenha sido revelado como Alcorão ou como Sunnah. Allah Ta'ala disse:
The Qur’aan and the Sunnah are both Wahi from Allah and we have been commanded to follow what Allah Ta’Aalaa has revealed whether it was revealed as the Qur’aan or as the Sunnah. Allah Ta’Aalaa said:
Ó vós que credes, obedecei a Allah e obedecei ao Mensageiro e aos detentores da autoridade entre vós. E se discordardes em alguma questão, remetei-a a Allah e ao Mensageiro, se credes em Allah e no Último Dia (An-Nisaa’ 59).
