এই সুস্পষ্ট শব্দসমূহ (আলফাযh) তাদের স্পষ্টতার বিভিন্ন স্তর অনুসারে চার ভাগে বিভক্ত। দালালাহ (অর্থ-নির্দেশনা) এর শক্তি এগুলোর সাথে নিম্নরূপে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ:

These clear wordings (Alfaazh) are divided into four categories in accordance to their different levels of clarity. The strength of the Dalaalah (indication) corresponds to them as follows:

১ – আয-যাহির: এটি সবচেয়ে কম স্পষ্ট।

1 – Azh-Zhaahir: This is the least clear.

২ – আন-নস: এটিকে যাহির (প্রকাশ্য অর্থ) এর চেয়েও স্পষ্ট বলে গণ্য করা হয়।

2 – An-Nass: This is regarded to be clearer than the Zhaahir.

৩ – আল-মুফাসসার: এটি নস (Nass) এর চেয়ে বেশি স্পষ্ট।

3 – Al-Mufassar: It is clearer than the Nass.

৪ - আল-মুহকাম: এটি পূর্বোক্ত প্রকারগুলোর তুলনায় অধিক সুস্পষ্ট।

4 - Al-Muhkam: It is clearer than the previous aforementioned types.
