The Third Daleel: Al-Ijmaa’ (consensus)

The meaning of Al-Ijmaa’:
আল-ইজমা‘ আভিধানিকভাবে:
Al-Ijmaa’ linguistically:
এটি কোনো বিষয়ে দৃঢ় সংকল্প বা মনস্থ করা এবং সম্মতি প্রদান। এই সংকল্প একজন ব্যক্তির পক্ষ থেকে প্রকাশ পাওয়া বৈধ, এবং এই অর্থটি রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ-এর বাণীতেও পাওয়া যায়:
It is the determination or resolve upon a matter and agreement. This resolve is valid to emanate from one (person) and this meaning is found in the Qawl of the Messenger (saw):
“যে ব্যক্তি ফজরের আগে রোযার নিয়ত করে না, তার কোনো রোযা নেই” (সুনান সংকলকগণ এটি বর্ণনা করেছেন)।
“Whoever does not resolve (i.e. intend) the fasting before Fajr, then there is no fasting for him” (related by the compilers of the Sunan).
আল্লাহ তাআলার বাণী: এর মতো যেমন এটি একাধিক ব্যক্তির জন্য ব্যবহার করা বৈধ।
Just as it is valid to be used for more than one like in His Qawl Ta’Aalaa:
তাহলে তোমাদের কর্মপরিকল্পনা স্থির করো এবং তোমাদের শরিকদের সাথে মিলে তা কার্যকর করো (ইউনুস ৭১)।
So resolve upon your plan along with your associates (Younus 71).
সহযোগীদের সঙ্গে ঐকমত্য বজায় রেখে সংকল্পে দৃঢ় থাকা।
Which means resolve whilst being in agreement with your associates.
