सच्चाई (सिद्क़) और कलाम (वाक्य) की सही व्याख्या की माँग है कि एक आवश्यक लुप्त शब्द को निर्धारित करके मान लिया जाए (तक़दीर), और वह शब्द है ‘हुक्म’ (निर्णय)। इस प्रकार उस उत्तम हदीस का अर्थ यह होता है: ‘इन बातों का हुक्म (निर्णय) मेरी उम्मत से उठा लिया गया है, उन लोगों से जिनसे ये (यानी भूल, विस्मृति और मजबूरी) घटित होती हैं। इसलिए ऐसे व्यक्ति को दुनिया में दंड नहीं दिया जाएगा और आख़िरत (परलोक) में इसके परिणामस्वरूप कोई गुनाह नहीं होगा।’ अतः लफ़्ज़ ‘हुक्म’ को कलाम की सच्चाई (सिद्क़) के तक़ाज़ों के अनुसार निर्धारित किया जाता है, और इस प्रकार की दलालत को ‘दलालतुल-इक़्तिज़ा’ माना जाता है।

The Lafzh ‘Hukm’ is therefore determined in accordance to the dictates of the truthfulness (Sidq) of the speech and this Dalaalah is considered to be Dalaalat ul-Iqtidaa’.
