सुन्नत आयतों के समान नहीं है, और न ही वह क़ुरआन से बेहतर है या उसके बराबर है। यह भी सहीह सनद से ‘उमर इब्न अल-ख़त्ताब (रज़ि॰) से वर्णित है कि उन्होंने कहा: "हम अल्लाह की किताब और अपने नबी ﷺ की सुन्नत को उस स्त्री के कथन के लिए नहीं छोड़ते जिसके बारे में हम नहीं जानते कि उसने सच कहा या झूठ।"

The Sunnah is not the same as the Aayaat and it is not better than the Qur’aan or like it. It has also been soundly reported from ‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab (ra) that he said: “We do not leave the Kitaab of Allah and the Sunnah of our Nabi for the statement of a women whom we don’t know whether she has told the truth or lied”.

3 – मुतवातिर सुन्नत को ख़बर अल-आहाद के द्वारा मंसूख़ (निरस्त) करना जायज़ नहीं है।

3 – It is not permissible to abrogate the Sunnah Al-Mutawaatirah by the Khabar Al-Aahaad.

यह इसलिए है क्योंकि सुन्नत अल-मुतवातिरह क़ताई अस-सुबूत है, जबकि ख़बर अल-आहाद ज़न्नी अस-सुबूत है, और ज़न्नी क़ताई को मंसूख़ नहीं कर सकता क्योंकि क़ताई उससे ऊँचा है।

This is because the Sunnah Al-Mutawaatirah is Qat’iy Ath-Thuboot whilst the Khabar Al-Aahaad is Zhanniy Ath-Thuboot and the Zhanniy cannot abrogate the Qat’iy because the Qat’iy is higher than it.

4 – कियास के किसी हुक्म को निरस्त (मंसूख) करना जायज़ नहीं है।

4 – It is not permissible to abrogate a Hukm of Al-Qiyaas.

वह क़ियास (सादृश्य-अनुमान) जो मु'तबर (मान्य/वैध) है, वह है जिसकी 'इल्लत (कारण) क़ुरआन या सुन्नत से हो। क़ियास तब तक बाक़ी रहता है जब तक उसकी अस्ल (मूल) बाक़ी रहती है, और यदि अस्ल मंसूख़ (निरस्त) हो जाए तो क़ियास बाक़ी नहीं रहता। इसी कारण क़ियास में नस्ख़ (निरसन) बिल्कुल नहीं होता, और जब तक अस्ल बाक़ी है तब तक क़ियास के नस्ख़ होने की कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती, क्योंकि हुक्म स्वयं अस्ल के भीतर मौजूद होता है।

The Qiyaas (analogy) which is Mu’tabar (considered/valid) is the Qiyaas which its ‘Illah (reason) is from the Qur’aan or the Sunnah. The Qiyaas remains as long as the Asl (origin) remains and if the Asl is abrogated then there is no Qiyaas. For this reason, An-Naskh (abrogation) does not occur in Al-Qiyaas at all and the occurrence of the abrogation of Qiyaas cannot been envisioned to happen whilst the Asl (origin) remains because the Hukm is present within the Asl.
