1) यदि क़ियास किसी क़त‘ई नस (पाठ) पर आधारित हो और उस नस की ‘इल्लत सराहतन या दलालतन (स्पष्ट रूप से या संकेत द्वारा) स्थापित हो, तो इस स्थिति में क़ियास, ज़न्नी ख़बर-ए-आहाद पर प्राथमिकता रखेगा। 2) यदि क़ियास किसी ज़न्नी अस्ल (मूल आधार) पर निर्भर हो और ‘इल्लत इस्तिम्बात (निष्कर्षण/अनुमान) के द्वारा स्थापित हुई हो, तो इस स्थिति में ख़बर-ए-आहाद क़ियास पर प्राथमिकता रखेगी।

1) If the Qiyaas is based upon a Qat’iy text and the ‘Illah of the text is Saraahatan or Dalaalatan (explicit or implicit) then in this case the Qiyaas will take precedence over the Khabar Al-Aahaad AzhZhanniy. 2) If the Qiyaas depended upon a Zhanniy Asl (origin) and the ‘Illah was established through Istinbaat (deduction), then in this case the Khabar Al-Aahaad takes precedence over the Qiyaas.

3) जब कियास किसी ज़न्नी नस (पाठ) पर आधारित हो और उसकी 'इल्लत भी ज़न्नी हो: ऐसी स्थिति में जब ख़बर अल-आहाद और अल-क़ियास के बीच टकराव या विरोधाभास हो और उनमें से किसी एक को दूसरे पर प्राथमिकता देना संभव न हो, तब उसके मत के अनुसार, विद्वानों (उलमा) ने इस बात पर सर्वसम्मति कर ली है कि क़ियास पर ख़बर अल-आहाद को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।

3) In regards to when the Qiyaas is established by a Zhanniy text and the ‘Illah of the text is Zhanniy: In the situation when a conflict or contradiction happens between a Khabar Al-Aahaad and Al-Qiyaas and it is not possible to outweigh one over the other, then, in accordance to his view, the ‘Ulamaa have held a consensus upon giving precedence to the Khabar Al-Aahaad over the Qiyaas.

4) जब ‘इल्लत मुस्तंबत (निकाली गई) हो और वह अस्ल (मूल आधार) जिस पर क़ियास टिका है क़तई हो। इस स्थिति में ‘उलमा के बीच इस बात पर मतभेद पाया जाता है कि क़ियास को ख़बर-ए-आहाद पर प्राथमिकता दी जाए या नहीं।

4) When the ‘Illah is Mustanbatah (deduced) and the Asl (origin) that the Qiyaas is based upon is Qat’iy. In this case a difference of opinion has taken place amongst the ‘Ulamaa in respect to outweighing the Qiyaas over the Khabar Al-Aahaad.

- अश-शातिबी ने क़ातई और ज़न्नी के बीच टकराव की स्थिति के संबंध में कहा: "वह ज़न्नी जो क़ातई अस्ल के विरोध में हो और जिसे क़ातई अस्ल का समर्थन प्राप्त न हो, उसे बिना किसी संदेह के रद्द कर दिया जाएगा।"

- As-Shaatibiy said in respect to being presented with a conflict between the Qat’iy and the Zhanniy: “The Zhanniy that conflicts with the Qat’iy Asl and is not supported by the Asl Qat’iy is rejected without any problem”.
