1) मुतकल्लिमीन का तरीक़ा:

1) Tareeqah of the Mutakallimeen:

अल-मुतकल्लिमून उन उलेमा को दी गई उपाधि है जिन्होंने उसूल उद-दीन, जैसे अल्लाह पर ईमान और यह ईमान कि क़ुरआन अल्लाह तआला की तरफ़ से है, को स्थापित और सिद्ध करने के लिए अक़्ल का प्रयोग किया। यह उपाधि उन लोगों को दी गई जिन्होंने इन विषयों पर विचार किया: नबियों की नबूवत से पहले की मासूमियत (निष्पापता), हुस्न और क़ुब्ह के अक़्ली निर्धारण का मुद्दा, और उस मुनइ'म (नेमत देने वाले), जो अल्लाह है, का शुक्र अदा करना, और क्या उसे मानना शरई दलील की वजह से वाजिब है या अक़्ली तौर पर वाजिब है। उन्होंने भाषाओं की उत्पत्ति पर भी चर्चा की कि क्या वे तौक़ीफ़ीया (अल्लाह की तरफ़ से प्रदत्त) हैं या तौफ़ीक़ीया, यानी लोगों के आपसी समझौते से बनी हैं।

Al-Mutakallimoon is an expression that was given to the ‘Ulamaa who utilised the ‘Aql to arrive to affirm and establish the Usool ud Deen, like the Imaan in Allah and Imaan in respect to the Qur’aan being from Allah Ta’Aalaa. The title was given to those who looked into the issue of the infallibility of the Anbiyaa’ before Prophethood, the issue of the rational or ‘Aqliy determination of Husn and ‘Aqliy determination of Qubh and the issue of showing gratitude to the Mun’im (the provider of the Ni’mah) who is Allah and whether it is obligatory to listen due to the Daleel Ash-Shar’iy or is it obligatory rationally! They also discussed the origin of languages and whether they are Tawqeefiyah (from Allah) or are they Tawfeeqiyah i.e. by the agreement of the people upon them.

तरीक़ा (पद्धति) को "तरीक़त उल-मुतकल्लिमीन" इसलिए कहा गया, दो कारणों से।

The Tareeqah (method) was called Tareeqat ul-Mutakallimeen for two reasons:

1) मुतकल्लिमीन में से कुछ लोग उसूल उल-फ़िक़्ह के अध्ययन में इसी तरीके से दाखिल हुए, क्योंकि उन्होंने इसमें अपने अध्ययन के तरीकों से गहरी समानता पाई। इसी कारण उन्होंने उसूल उल-फ़िक़्ह को उसी तरह देखा, उसकी ओर रुख किया और उसका अध्ययन किया, जैसे उन्होंने इल्म उल-कलाम का अध्ययन किया था।

1) Some of the Mutakallimeen entered into the study of Usool ul Fiqh in this method because they found within it a strong resemblance between it and their own methodologies of study. As such they looked into, approached and studied Usool ul-Fiqh just as they had studied the ‘Ilm ul-Kalaam.
