हम किसी आयत को मंसूख़ (निरस्त) नहीं करते या उसे भुला नहीं देते, सिवाय इसके कि हम उससे बेहतर या उसके समान (दूसरी) ले आते हैं। क्या तुम नहीं जानते कि अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर सामर्थ्यवान है? (अल-बक़रा 106)

We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent? (Al-Baqarah 106).

और उसने, जो बहुत बरकत वाला और सर्वोच्च है, कहा:

And He Ta’Aalaa said:

और जब हम एक आयत की जगह दूसरी आयत बदलते हैं - और अल्लाह उसे भली-भाँति जानता है जो वह उतारता है - तो वे कहते हैं, "तुम तो बस गढ़ने वाले हो [झूठ के]।" परन्तु उनमें से अधिकतर नहीं जानते। (अन-नहल 101)

And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know (An-Nahl 101).
