قرآن کیسے نازل ہوا
How the Qur’an was revealed
قرآن نبی Muhammad ﷺ پر 23 سال کے عرصے کے دوران اقساط (حصوں) میں نازل ہوا۔ یہ کسی باقاعدہ ترتیب کے ساتھ نازل نہیں ہوا؛ کبھی یہ لگاتار نازل ہوتا جبکہ کبھی اس میں تاخیر ہوتی یا وحی کے درمیان طویل وقفے ہوتے۔ سب سے پہلے جو نازل ہوا وہ Surah Al- ‘Alaq سے تھا اور یہ ان کا Qawl Ta’Aalaa تھا:
The Qur’aan was revealed upon the Nabi Muhammad (saw) in instalments (in parts) over a period of 23 years. It did not descend upon a regular pattern; sometimes it would come consecutively whilst at other times it would be delayed or there would be long gaps between the revelations. The first to be revealed was from Soorah Al- ‘Alaq and this was His Qawl Ta’Aalaa:
پڑھئے اپنے رب کے نام سے جس نے پیدا کیا۔ انسان کو خون کے لوتھڑے سے پیدا کیا۔ پڑھئے اور آپ کا رب بڑا کریم ہے۔ جس نے قلم کے ذریعے سکھایا۔ انسان کو وہ کچھ سکھایا جو وہ نہیں جانتا تھا (العلق 1-5)۔
Read in the name of your Lord who created. Created man from a clot. Read and your Lord is the Most Generous. Who taught by the pen. Taught the human that which he did not know (Al-‘Alaq 1-5).
اور آخری وحی اللہ تعالیٰ کا کلام تھا:
And the last of the revelation was the speech of Allah Ta’Aalaa:
اور اس دن سے ڈرو جس میں تم اللہ کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے، پھر ہر جان کو اس کے کیے ہوئے عمل کا بدلہ دیا جائے گا اور ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا (البقرہ 281)۔
And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly (Al-Baqarah 281).
قرآن کا نزول اللہ کے رسول (peace be upon him) پر اس وقت شروع ہوا جب آپ مکہ کے قریب غارِ حرا میں تھے، جہاں آپ پیغام کی ذمہ داری اور نبوت کے سونپے جانے سے پہلے تنہائی اور غور و فکر کے لیے جایا کرتے تھے۔
The Qur’aan began to be revealed upon the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he was in the cave of Hiraa’, close to Makkah, where he would go for solitude and to contemplate before he was tasked with the carrying of the message and the Prophethood.
