これらの明白な表現（アルファーズ）は、その明晰さの度合いに応じて四つの種類に分けられる。ダラーラ（意味の指示）の強さは、それらに次のように対応する。

These clear wordings (Alfaazh) are divided into four categories in accordance to their different levels of clarity. The strength of the Dalaalah (indication) corresponds to them as follows:

1 – アズ＝ザーヒル：これは最も明確ではない。

1 – Azh-Zhaahir: This is the least clear.

2 – アン＝ナッス：これは「ザーヒル」よりも明確なものと見なされている。

2 – An-Nass: This is regarded to be clearer than the Zhaahir.

3 – アル＝ムファッサル：ナス（明文）よりも明白である。

3 – Al-Mufassar: It is clearer than the Nass.

4 - 「アル＝ムハッカム（Al-Muhkam）」：前述の諸類型より明白である。
