Het Raajih-standpunt (het meest waarschijnlijke of sterkere) is de mening van de eerste groep, die stelt dat Al-Istishaab een Hujjah is in het geval van ontkenning en het geval van bevestiging. Daarom blijft datgene wat de Shar’a heeft aangegeven te bevestigen zo, zolang er geen Daleel (bewijs) is genoemd dat het ontkent. In hetzelfde opzicht blijft datgene wat de Shar’a heeft vastgesteld niet aanwezig, niet-bestaand, zolang er geen Daleel (bewijs) is om het bestaan ervan vast te stellen of te bevestigen.

The Raajih (the outweighing or stronger) view is the opinion of the first group who state that Al-Istishaab is a Hujjah in the case or situation of negation and the case of affirmation. Therefore, that which the Shar’a has indicated to be affirmed remains so as long as there is no Daleel that has been mentioned that negates it. Similarly, that which the Shar’a has established to not be present remains non- existent as long as there is no Daleel to establish or affirm its existence.
